PROVINCIAL CONSULTATIVE WORKSHOP FOR WOMEN SANITARY WORKERS
| The Provincial consultative workshop was arranged by Action against poverty organization at hospitality inn, Lahore on 18th-02-2017 from 10:30 till 2:00pm. The unions of the women sanitary workers’ arrived from all 4 districts to mark the provincial consultative workshop. The program started with the blessed name of the lord almighty. Mr. Ejaz Rahi served as the stage secretary for the event. He started the program as the participants arrived in the hall. He greeted all the participants and welcomed them for the mega event of the whole project. After hosting a remarkable reception he carried on the proceedings of the program.
Mr. Ejaz Rahi invited the honourable guests on the stage one by one. Mr. Irfan Mufti presided over the provincial Consultative workshop, along with him Mr. Aslam wafa, Sadia sohail MPA. Javed Gill. Shenila Ruth MPA, Sarfraz clement Director AAP, Miss. Shamshad from Laboure department.The interesting success stories were narrated by the women sanitary workers from 4 districts. The up-shorts of those stories are the empowerment of women sanitary workers. They have admitted that they feel empowered, Miss shazia (president of union at khanpur district RYK) said, with the registration of union we feel much secure in all ways. The charter of demand was presented by Mr. Asher Younas after the sharing of the experiences. Meanwhile It was announced that if somebody feels that his or her recommendation is not inserted in the charter of demand he or she is welcomed. At the end Mr. Sarfraz Clement thanked the audience and welcomed for the lunch. |
